Sharing Learning

My teaching and facilitation work has been varied and concentrated on creative writing; youth work, leadership skills and organisational development.

Some examples of the breadth of this work are the training I delivered for teachers in storytelling skills for Islington and Middlesex Education and across the country for the National Children’s Bureau.

I also trained youth workers across the UK for YMCA George Williams College and for SOS Children Villages in the Gambia. More recently I have delivered an introduction to my approach to grassroots youth work for professors and students at the Federal University of the Amazona.

Coaching

Using lived experience and a continual learning ethos to work one to one. Focused on young artists that are building their work identity and would benefit from creative and structured clarifying or set sessions of designed nurture with new leaders of third sector organisations that impact youth.

Workshop

The Teeth & The Tongue

This workshop is fashioned from my long experience as a leader in the third sector, it is for smaller organisations intent on being both inwardly and outwardly healthy in this challenging world.

In this workshop I facilitate a moment of pause for teams of 1-30 engaged in the essential work of social change and nurture: enabling them time to actively re-visit and embody their own collective value. Over three hours of positive labour the workshop leads participants through their individual and collective roles, re-anchoring energy for continued building.

It also provides a vital opportunity for the play, connection and reflective storytelling that reunites teams in the inherent why of their work.
